  What's the deal with the dual (2) arches, front & rear? Think of it like this. Take a pipe or something cylindrical for example, and try to twist it. You pretty much can't. Why? It has opposing forces in each direction, to & fro, back & forth. The same is true with dual arches.Together they reinforce the torsional forces to make the fork simply unparalleled in lateral stiffness.
